Hi!
I am an economist specializing in the intersection of international trade and environmental economics, with a particular focus on firm heterogeneity. My research takes a micro-level approach, combining theoretical and empirical methods using German firm-level data. Recently, I have incorporated quantitative trade modeling into my work.
My research has been published in journals including the Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, Journal of International Economics, European Economic Review, Review of Environmental Economics and Policy, Review of International Economics, and Energy Economics.
I currently serve as Acting Chair of Quantitative Economics at the University of Mannheim and as a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Business Management and Economics at JMU Würzburg, affiliated with the Chair of Quantitative International and Environmental Economics. I am also a CESifo Research Network Affiliate, a DIW Berlin Research Fellow, and an External Research Fellow at the Kiel Centre for Globalization (KCG).
I received my Ph.D. in economics from TU Berlin through the DIW Graduate Center. Previously, I was a Visiting Professor of Economics at the University of Mannheim and held positions as Assistant Professor and Interim Professor at TU Dresden.
