Hi!
I am an economist specializing in the intersection of international trade and environmental economics, with a particular focus on firm heterogeneity. My research adopts a micro-level approach, combining theory and empirics with German firm-level data, and recently incorporates quantitative modeling.
My work has been published in leading journals, including the Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, Journal of International Economics, European Economic Review, Review of Environmental Economics and Policy, Review of International Economics, and Energy Economics.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Business Management and Economics at JMU Würzburg at the Chair of Quantitative International and Environmental Economics. I am also a CESifo Research Network Affiliate, a DIW Berlin Research Fellow, and Kiel Centre for Globalization (KCG) External Research Fellow.
I received my Ph.D. in economics from TU Berlin within the DIW Graduate Center. I was a Visiting Professor of Economics at the University of Mannheim and an Assistant Professor and Interim Professor at TU Dresden.
